'Pasticceria' is where cakes and pastries are made and sold. Different from a 'bakery' because they do not sell bread. In Italy 'pasticceria' is also a meeting place for breakfast with a 'cornetto and cappuccino', for an afternoon wine or cafe with 'bomboloni caldi'. Especially on Sundays, when trays of assorted pastries are bought and taken to family's homes for an after-lunch sweet. This vintage-inspired sign has been reproduced on aluminum in Italy.
